The shell of this rug is made using an Aqua with Bubble color 1200D PU coated rip-stop fabric, which has a waterproof rating of 3000mm. This rating is more than what is stipulated as adequate to prevent water seapage in fabric for up to 24 hours. Being a premium grade fabric, this waterproof fabric while being waterproof is also breathable thus ensuring that no moisture or sweat gets trapped inside the rug. The inside of the rugs features a 250 gsm polyfill quilting that is lined with a a soft poly-cotton lining that inhibits rubbing and moisture creation. This additional layer of quilting provides additional warmth. Furthermore, a water-resistant nylon lining at the drop of the rug and on the tented tail flap were also installed to prevent this rug from getting wet along its edges.

Additionaly, all seams of this winter synthetic rug are heat sealed for higher waterproofing efficiency. Furthermore, an extra-large tented tail flap was installed to ensure that the horse dosent get splashed with water.
